Spring is right around the corner and where I live, that means it’s time for sandals! I live in Florida, so to be honest, I can wear sandals often, but I get excited for new ones every Spring! Check out my top 5 picks for. the upcoming months!Continue reading “Sandals I’m Crushing On Right Now!”
This has been a very busy week for me so I didn’t get a chance to write a fragrance review for this week’s Fragrance Friday. In lieu of a review, I decided to share my latest YouTube video (about fragrance) with you here on the blog. Check it out and let me know if you have tried any of these!
I’m sure you all have noticed that I LOVE blush! It’s one of those makeup products that I can buy over and over and still justify it to myself because they are slightly different, lol. Anyway, I rounded up the 5 blushes that I’m loving for the Spring and made a video about them. Check out the video above and keep scrolling down for side by side swatches!
Spring is in the air! Spring is my favorite time of year. We get the most beautiful warm weather during this time of year, but it doesn’t get overly hot like summer. Also, my Wedding Anniversary is in the Spring, so I’m always looking forward to that. For some reason, Spring just seems to be a really happy time for me every year.
In celebration of Spring, I wanted to share with you my favorite Spring perfumes of the moment. “The Fab 5” will be a recurring series in which I will share with you my top five items of the given category. Check out the video below to see what I’m excited to wear this spring. Below the video, I will have the notes for each of the fragrances mentioned for your perusal.
Guess what I broke down and got! Yep, the new NARS blush palettes that are apart of the Pierre Hardy collection!
It’s been awhile, I know! Sorry for my little leave of absence, I had a death in the family and traveled a little bit. I am back now, so I promise I will make up for it!
Today’s nail of the day is a beauty. Essie’s First Timer is part of their Resort Collection which they usually release every year around this time. I absolutely love this color! It is definitely a bright green, but it has turquoise undertones, making it different than any other polish I own. Upon first seeing it, I thought it was similar to Essie Mojito Madness (click HERE to see), but this is lighter, brighter, and more blue. I personally really like Essie’s formula, and this one was no exception. It applied well and wore for a few days before chipping. I also purchased In the Cabana from this collection, but I haven’t tried it yet. When I do, I’ll be sure to post a picture here on the blog or on Instagram (username: SimpleBeautyYT).
What’s your favorite green nail polish?
I know that it has been awhile since my last Nail of the Day post, but I have really just been sticking to what I know in terms of nail polish. The few new shades that I have tried, were either too boring, not pretty enough, or I never got a chance to take pictures of before they chipped. Anyway, today’s nail is Coral Reef and it is apart of the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Line. This is not a new shade for me, but it is one that I love. It is the prettiest bright pinky coral that applies nicely and wears a decent amount of time. The picture above is on my 3rd day of wearing this polish and I think that it held up pretty nicely. With Spring right around the corner, I wanted to get back into some brighter colors.
