Blame it on my poor photography skills, but I’m working on it. Anyway, this was my smokey eye makeup look for dinner and movies with my husband the other night. I like how it turned out because it wasn’t over the top, but still was a bit different from my everyday makeup. Keep reading to find out the products I used to get this look!
I really like brown smokey eyes! They are simple, sultry, and appropriate for day or night. Also, you can wear pretty much any lip color you want with a brown smokey eye. Keep reading for more pictures and a video on how I got this look.
Urban Decay Smoked Eyeshadow Palette is supposed to give you the tools to perfect the smokey eye. The palette comes with 10 eyeshadows, a full sized 24-7 Glide-On eye pencil in Preversion, a mini Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and an instruction booklet for $49.
The instruction booklet has 12 different looks that you can achieve by using this palette alone. Rockstar is one of the looks described in the booklet that is basically a purple smokey eye. I decided to give it a try, and I like the way it turned out!
