I did another video in my “Where Are They Now?” series. If you are unfamiliar with this series, it is where I go back and look at my favorites from when I first started and revisit those items and give you my thoughts. I really like doing these videos because it helps me remember items I may have forgotten about or even helps me to get rid of some things that I no longer use. If you’re interested, check out the video below!
Do you or have you ever used any of the items I mentioned? Do you still feel the same way about them now as you did back then?
As soon as I saw the new Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain, I immediately thought of my beloved YSL Glossy Stains. I decided to just try one of these in the shade London Posh. Prior to purchasing this product, I really didn’t have any previous knowledge on it. Keep reading to find out if it was a hit or miss for me!
Revlon has a new display showing up drugstores everywhere that features new blushes, bronzers, and highlighters. One of the products that I decided to try were the blushes because they looked so pigmented like high end blushes. Keep reading to see how they performed!
Whenever I am looking for a new foundation, it is always hard for me to find people of my color and skin type online. Today’s post will be showing the foundations that I own so you can see how the shades compare side by side. Also, I’ll be doing a brief review of each one. Hopefully this post can help you if you are on the market for a new foundation. Keep reading to find out more!
I can’t believe it is already November! I’m a little late this time around, but here are my favorites for the month of October. For the best quality, please open in YouTube and view in HD! Names of all the products mentioned will be in the description area on YouTube!
Doesn’t this shade scream sunshine! I like the way this color turned out. I have been really into green nail polish lately, so I decided to pick this one up when Walgreens was having a sale. I’m glad I did. This is a bright, summertime, grassy green that I think would look great on a large variety of skintones. The formula was very nice and really didn’t even need 2 coats. I did 2 anyway because I always do, but it is still nice to not have to. I was never really into Revlon nail polish, but they are really starting to impress me.
Have you stepped out into the green nail polish world? Which ones are your favorites? Any other Revlon shades that you think I should try?
Orange and coral lip shades have quickly become my favorite color family. These colors are flattering on all skin tones, but I think even more so on women of color. Check out my video below describing some of my favorite picks. Enjoy!
Today’s manicure features Revlon Dreamer as a base and Essie Set in Stones on top as an accent. Revlon Dreamer is a gorgeous pastel periwinkle color. When i purchased this shade last week, I was planning on getting Essie’s Lapis of Luxury, but i saw that this color was very similar and I decided to try it instead. Revlon runs for about $5 while Essie is about $8. This shade was slightly watery which made it messy to apply, but the color was opaque. The wear time is pretty good. I was able to keep it on 3 days without it chipping. 3 days is good for me because my work is hard on my hands.
I love the way this turned out. What do you think?
