A few months ago, I wrote a post telling you all the deets on what I took with me on vacation and you all really seemed to like it. A few weeks ago, I went on a trip to Las Vegas and had a little staycation. The makeup I took with me this time was much different so I wanted to share it with you. Check out the quick little video below and let me know if you have any questions about anything mentioned!
What are your go-to products when you are traveling?
So yeah, I have a lipstick hoarding problem… Actually, if I’m being completely honest, I have a makeup hoarding problem! I go through my makeup every 6 months or so, but for some reason, my lippies have been getting overlooked. I guess since I had so many of them, it seemed too overwhelming to go through. About a week or two ago, I decided to bite the bullet and get rid of a lot of my lip products. What you see in the above picture is about 3/4 of the lip products that I started with (lipsticks, liners, glosses, and chapsticks included). Keep scrolling down to see what I’m working with now!
A few months ago (quite a few months ago at this point, lol), I was blessed to be able to go on vacation! Yay! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a trip to Cancun, Mexico with another couple (who we love and look up to)! If you have been following my Youtube channel, you may have seen some of the outfits that I wore while there, but here, I wanted to show you what makeup I took with me. Not to mention, the absolutely gorgeous toiletry case that accompanied me!
So if you know me, you know that I LOVE to shop! Some of my favorite things to shop for are makeup, luxury bags & accessories, home decor, and the list goes on & on! One of my goals for 2019 is to be more financially responsible, so I decided to cut back on some things. Now, shopping is something that I really enjoy so I’m not cutting it out completely. I just decided to set a few rules for myself so that I don’t go crazy with my spending this year.
Today’s video, My Five Minute Face, is one that I have wanted to share with you all for awhile. This is for all of you who just want a simple, everyday, 5 minute makeup routine to make you feel put together and pretty. This is the makeup that I turn to when I’m running late for work, or just not wanting to spend much time on my face, but I want to look like I tried! As a bonus, in this video I also showed you one way that I tie my head wraps. Hope you enjoy and be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and my blog!
Do you have a 5 Minute Face? What steps are most important for you?
Even though I was absent from my blog, youtube, and social media for most of 2016, I was still buying and trying all kinds of makeup! If you would like to see the products that made my list for the Best of Beauty 2016, check it out below!
It’s time for me to share my monthly favorites with you again! This month I had quite a few items that got my attention that I couldn’t wait to share with you. Right now, Sephora has their Spring Sale going on so I figured that this would be a great time to share some items that I’ve recently picked up with you all. There are a few things from the Sephora sale, but also some stuff that I have had for awhile! This is a really long one, but if you have time, check out the beauty products that I picked up!
It’s been so long since my last favorites video (November), so this time around I have quite a bit to share with you! Check out the video below if you would like to see what I’ve been enjoying for the last few months!
