It’s favorites time! This month I wanted to do a little something different. Instead of just posting my video here, I will also list each of the products mentioned in this blog post and give you a teeny, tiny snippet about them. If I have any blog posts to go with the item mentioned, I’ll not only link it on my YouTube, but also here in this post. I decided to try this because I know some of you can’t always watch the videos, but you still may be interested in what my favorite products of the month were. Let me know what you think!

Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker Review

camille-rose-naturals-curl-maker-reviewCamille Rose Naturals is one of those natural hair brands that used to be harder to find, but is now available in select Targets. I was in Target and saw the Camille Rose section, so I decided to try a few out. The first one that I have tried enough to review is the Curl Maker. It is described as a “curling jelly” that “will eliminate frizz, moisturize, and define curls.” Keep reading to see how this product’s performance measures up against those claims!

How I Refresh My Wash & Go

Prior to doing my “big chop,” I thought that I would have to wash my hair everyday or every other day to maintain my wash & go hairstyle. Thanks to the natural hair ladies on YouTube (DenimPixie was my fave!) and some experimentation, I quickly learned that was absolutely false! I now tend to rock my wash & go for up to 7 days! Check out how I refresh my hair to keep it moisturized and fluffy!

How do you maintain your natural hair on an everyday basis?

Miss Jessie’s Super Sweetback Treatment Review

Miss Jessie's Super Sweetback Treatment

I finally tried my first Miss Jessie’s product! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw when I scored the Super Sweetback Treatment on clearance for 50% off (normally $48). The Super Sweetback Treatment (henceforth referred to as SST) is a deep conditioner that promises to soften the hair and encourage growth. I’ve had enough time to properly test this product out, so keep reading if you want to know my thoughts!

Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream First Impression

I finally decided to try a new hair product! Awhile ago I was very interested in the Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream, but never purchased it because of the hefty price tag. Not too long ago I was perusing the “ethnic” area of Target and came across the smaller 6 ounce container for $14.99 so I decided to give it a go. Check out my first impression of this product if you’re interested!

Have you tried Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream? If you have, let us know how you like it and how you use it!
