Tom Ford Lost Cherry is one of my newest fragrance purchases and is my most expensive fragrance purchase (by far)! This Fragrance Friday will be slightly different from the others because not only will I give you a brief review of the fragrance, but I will also discuss an alternative that is at a much lower price point.

Colourpop recently added a new product to their line, the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. These lipsticks are right on trend with the rest of the beauty industry right now. They go on as a liquid, but dry to a very matte opaque lip. They are also cheaper than most of their counterparts at only $6 each. I picked up 10 of these to test out for you all. Keep reading to see how they fared!
Sephora recently released a new foundation, the Teint Infusion Foundation. As soon as I saw it, I knew that it was supposed to be similar to the recent liquid to powder foundations that a few high end brands have been releasing lately (i.e. YSL Fusion Ink, Lancome Nude Miracle, etc.). The one that I have tried and liked as been the Lancome Nude Miracle Foundation so I wanted to see how this new Sephora foundation measured up. If you’re interested in hearing my thoughts, watch the video below!
Have you tried any of the new liquid to powder, barely-there foundations? If so, what is your favorite?
A couple of months ago, The Balm added another illuminating powder to their lineup. If you are familiar with The Balm Cosmetics, I’m sure you know that some of their most popular products are the “Lou-Manizer’s”. Pretty much every beauty blogger I know owns either Mary Lou-Manizer or Betty Lou-Manizer if not both. Little sister, Cindy Lou-Manizer is the newest addition that is marketed as a blush and subtle highlight. So how does it work on deeper skin? Keep reading if you would like to find out!
The Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks are starting to pop up everywhere now! With super cute packaging and bright bold colors, its no surprise that they took off. Recently L.A. Girl Released Glazed Lip Paints that look very similar in packaging and color selection to Too Faced. In fact, both ranges contain 6 shades that look very similar at first glance. So which one should you spend your money on? Keep reading to find out!

I know I’ve been promising this Battle of the Brands for such a long time, but I’m finally getting it done now! Today’s post will compare the Loreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains to the YSL Glossy Stains. These products are both supposed to look glossy like lip gloss, but provide the color of sheer lipstick and the lasting power of a stain. Unlike other lip stains, these are supposed to stay glossy the entire time, they don’t dry down to a matte finish. The YSL version came first followed by the Loreal (which is a parent company of YSL Beauty) version. Keep reading to see which version wins this battle!
Loreal recently came out with a new huge line of nail polishes, the Loreal Extraordinaire Gel-Lacque. It comes as a 3 step system that is designed to give you the long lasting shiny finish of a manicure with a gel system, but without the hassle of UV lamps and soaking off the polish. As soon as I saw the display, I was excited because I immediately wondered if they were as good as the Formula X for Sephora system (review here). Keep reading to see if they live up to the claims!
Nars recently released a new cream foundation, the Radiant Cream Compact Foundation. After trying this foundation for awhile I wanted to share a comparison of it and the Nars Sheer Glow foundation which I already owned. The Radiant Cream Compact is said to be a creamy version of Sheer Glow, but I’m not so sure about that. Keep reading for my thoughts and comparisons.
As some of you may know, Mac Face & Body Foundation is one of my favorite foundations (see HERE) for natural looking glow-y skin. I’ve heard that Make Up Forever’s version is similar, but better so I wanted to try it out. Watch my video below to see my initial thoughts on this foundation (in shade 12, caramel).
Have you tried either Make Up Forever or MAC Face & Body? Which one do you prefer?
Isn’t she lovely? I recently caved in and purchased my first Laura Mercier product and it is absolutely a thing of beauty! Spellbound is a limited edition face illuminator recently released by Laura Mercier. For pictures and thoughts, keep reading!
