As soon as I saw the promo picture for this item, I knew I had to have it. The new Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffles are a combination of two of their best selling products; the Beach Tints and the Shimmering Skin Perfectors. From the outside, they have a marbled appearance of color and shimmer. They really remind me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes upon first glance. These little pots are supposed to do magic, check out the description from Sephora below.
“This lightweight formula packs four must-have qualities into one formula: a powder to add a pop of color, a stain to give staying power, an illuminating highlighter, and a cream to deliver a flawless finish. Water-resistant, each pot combines Becca’s bestselling Beach Tint with a Shimmering Skin Perfector™ for effortlessly buildable, complexion-enhancing color, soothing hydration, and a youthful glow.”
Nars recently came out with 3 contouring blush palettes that includes a large contour powder and a smaller highlighting powder. I picked up the darkest of the 3 shades available, Gienah. Keep reading for my thoughts.
It’s been too long since my last haul video! But don’t worry, I made up for lost time in this super long video! Needless to say, May will be a month of not much shopping! Check out my video below if you want to see the goodies that I picked up.
What beauty products have you picked up lately? Have you tried any of the items I purchased?
If you have been a long time subscriber to my blog, then I’m sure you know that I have a thing for the Color Tattoos. At one point I had pretty much all the colors they came out with. Since then I’ve slowed down on them, but whenever they have a new collection, I at least check it out. Recently, they released the Dare to go Nude Collection for Spring 2014. I wasn’t too hyped about the collection because I thought it looked too similar to previous items that they released, but I was interested in a couple of items. I only picked up Caramel Cool Color Tattoo and Charming Cocoa Color Elixir. Keep reading for swatches and my thoughts!
Inglot currently is discontinuing their round eyeshadow pans so for a limited time they have quite a few palettes on clearance. I picked up the 20 pan palette for a little over $30 about a month ago, but according to the website now it is $61.50. That’s actually the price I thought I would be paying, but when it went into my cart it took almost 50%! I have no idea why, but it did! Check out this post for swatches and my thoughts on it! I know I’ve been promising this Battle of the Brands for such a long time, but I’m finally getting it done now! Today’s post will compare the Loreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stains to the YSL Glossy Stains. These products are both supposed to look glossy like lip gloss, but provide the color of sheer lipstick and the lasting power of a stain. Unlike other lip stains, these are supposed to stay glossy the entire time, they don’t dry down to a matte finish. The YSL version came first followed by the Loreal (which is a parent company of YSL Beauty) version. Keep reading to see which version wins this battle!
Make Up For Ever recently released a new line of HD Blushes in 16 shades. On Sephora’s website they are just called HD Blushes, but the actual packaging calls them Second Skin Cream Blushes. This can be rather confusing because the blurb on Sephora’s website isn’t very clear that these are cream products. I decided to try two shades. Keep reading for my thoughts and swatches!
Maybelline recently came out with a new collection of nude lipsticks called The Buffs. It contains 10 nude shades ranging from light to dark and everything in between. Keep reading to see swatches and my thoughts on the 6 shades I picked up.
Hourglass has quickly become one of those companies that cause a stir every time they release a new product! They recently released the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes and are already sold out on their website (for the time being). Sephora did an early release for VIBs, so I was able to pick up two to test out for you, Diffused Heat and Radiant Magenta. Keep reading for swatches, pictures, and my thoughts on them so far!
