With everything that’s going on right now, I’m trying not to shop. However, with me being home so much more, the online shopping temptation is so real! One thing that I like to do is to add things to my cart and then close the window. I know that this may seem pointless, but it helps me because I actually enjoy the act of shopping for the best item/best price. This way, I get my fix without spending my money!
Check out what is currently in my cart at one of my favorite places, Target!
So if you know me, you know that I LOVE to shop! Some of my favorite things to shop for are makeup, luxury bags & accessories, home decor, and the list goes on & on! One of my goals for 2019 is to be more financially responsible, so I decided to cut back on some things. Now, shopping is something that I really enjoy so I’m not cutting it out completely. I just decided to set a few rules for myself so that I don’t go crazy with my spending this year.
Hi friends! I’ve missed you all! If you follow me on any social media then you probably know that we welcomed a sweet baby girl into the world last month! Miss Chloe Jayde Philyaw was born on May 1st at 4:11am weighing in at 4 lbs 11 oz. We are so thankful that she is here and she is healthy!
Prior to giving birth, I filmed a tour of her nursery, but I just got around to finally editing the footage. I love the way her room turned out; girly, but not overdone (in my humble opinion). Not to mention I’m proud of myself for being a bit more frugal this time around and still being very happy with the final result. Check out the tour video below if you would like to take a peek inside of her room!
For a listing of the items shown, please see links in the YouTube description box.
I’ve been keeping a secret……I’m pregnant! Yep, you read that right! My husband and I are thrilled to be expecting our second child in May 2017! And guess what else????
It’s a girl!!!
We are so excited to embark on this journey of being parents to multiple children! My oldest child, Noah, is now 19 months old and is as active as ever! So I have to admit that I’m a little worried about how I’m going to handle 2 young kids, but I’m sure we will quickly get into the swing of things once our baby girl is here. Children require so much time and effort, but are the greatest blessing!
I have been wanting to do a video like this for a long time now so when my YouTube buddy, NaturallyCurlyQ reached out to me, I was so excited! In the video below, I will be sharing 10 products that have made parenting a little easier! All products mentioned will be listed and linked below the video. I hope you all enjoy!
Delivery Day is almost here! I’m currently about 37.5 weeks pregnant, so approximately 2.5 weeks to go! The time has really flown by! I’ve been so busy getting ready for baby that I haven’t spent much time on the blog, but maybe during my maternity leave, I’ll finally get some free time. Maybe not! 🙂 Anyway, the nursery for our baby boy is finally pretty much complete and I wanted to share it with you all! Keep scrolling down for pictures of some of my favorite things in the nursery. Plus, check out the video below for a tour.
I don’t know what it is, but every time I plan to do blog posts, something happens. This time, I have a few beauty blog posts/videos that I really want to get done, but I unfortunately I came down with a cold. With the way I felt, I didn’t want to get out of the bed or off the couch for the last week, let alone do a video! Today, I feel much better even though I still have some coughing going on. Instead of doing the beauty posts that I had planned, I decided to share with you my latest Louis Vuitton purchases. The video below shows the unboxing and gives information on the products that I purchased, but also gives you a chance to see my baby bump. If you just want to see a couple of pictures, keep scrolling down past the video!
Merry Christmas!!! Long time, no see! I’ve missed posting, but as you all may have guessed, the little free time that I have is usually devoted to looking at baby stuff! Anyway, I made a video showing my home decor for Christmas. I know its a little late for this video, but I wanted to post it anyway because it may give you some ideas on things you may want to pick up during the after Christmas sales. Plus, I personally love watching any type of home decor or house tour videos, so I figured I would add one to the mix. Please keep in mind that my house is still a work in progress so it may look a bit bare. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this little peek into my home!
Do you go all out for Christmas decorations or do you keep it simple like me?
