Tom Ford Lost Cherry is one of my newest fragrance purchases and is my most expensive fragrance purchase (by far)! This Fragrance Friday will be slightly different from the others because not only will I give you a brief review of the fragrance, but I will also discuss an alternative that is at a much lower price point.

So yeah, I have a lipstick hoarding problem… Actually, if I’m being completely honest, I have a makeup hoarding problem! I go through my makeup every 6 months or so, but for some reason, my lippies have been getting overlooked. I guess since I had so many of them, it seemed too overwhelming to go through. About a week or two ago, I decided to bite the bullet and get rid of a lot of my lip products. What you see in the above picture is about 3/4 of the lip products that I started with (lipsticks, liners, glosses, and chapsticks included). Keep scrolling down to see what I’m working with now!
Gucci Memoire D’une Odeur is a relatively new fragrance to my collection. I picked up it shortly after its release after I happened to come upon it while walking my kid to the bathroom of a department store! LOL! I saw the beautiful bottle, gave it a whiff, and couldn’t get it out of my mind! About a week later, I purchased it with a gift card and I have no regrets!
If you know me, you know that Target is one of my favorite places! So much so, that I have limited my visits there because I do so much unnecessary spending. Ugh! Nevertheless, I do have 5 current Target items to share that I have been loving!
Universal Thread High Rise Distressed Skinny Jeans To be transparent, I just got these jeans and have not washed them yet, so I’m not 100% sure how they hold up. That being said, I absolutely love the fit and feel of these. The knee slits add a little distressing that is totally appropriate for my lifestyle. They are stretchy, but hold their shape. They definitely feel more expensive than they are!
Universal Thread Monterey V-Neck T-Shirt The camp shirt is pictured, because it is my favorite, but I have this same shirt in quite a few colors now. I love that the v-neck doesn’t get misshapen and is not too low cut for me. I also like that the fit of this shirt is not super oversized, but not a tight fit either. Not to mention, I’ve had the camo version for at least 6 months and it is still in perfect shape (I wear it at least every other week)!
Auden Everyday Lightly Lined Demi T-Shirt Bra This bra is the reason that I am doing this post! I have this in the caramel color shown, but also in black and beige. This bra is one of the most comfortable bras that I own and it is by far the least expensive! I have had mine now for probably about 10 months and it still fits well. I will probably restock on these soon just to be safe!
Stars Above Simply Cool Pajama Pants in Blue Stripe Again, I have these pajama pants in more than one print (are we seeing a pattern here? haha). I love all of the prints that I have, but I thought that this blue stripe pair is probably the most universally liked. These pajama pants also have matching tops that can be purchased separately, but I tend to wear mine with a tank top. They are super cute, comfortable, and they fit me well. I don’t find that these stretch out over time. Another bonus is that they are so breathable, I wear them to bed year round.
Kristin Ess Hair Signature Gloss in Copper Penny Last, but not least, this hair toning gloss has been a staple for me. I’ve had highlights for quite a few months now and when I notice the color fading, I use this hair gloss. It looks like a hair color, but it is actually a moisturizing, color depositing treatment. The color is only temporary, but I find that it helps bring the warmth back to my hair! Plus, it makes my hair look more shiny!
Have you discovered any new loves at Target lately? What’s your go to Target Win?
Many of you may already know, but I have been a fragrance lover for as long as I can remember! I can recall all the way back to middle school, getting excited about perfumes! Back then, I would peruse the aisles of Ross and Marshalls looking to spend my little money that I saved on purses or perfume. Over 20 years later, I’m still loving both! Haha! Since my fragrance collection is so large, I decided to start this Fragrance Friday series on the blog. I probably won’t do these every Friday, just whenever the mood strikes! In this series, I plan to do short posts that briefly describe my thoughts on the fragrance. For this first Fragrance Friday, I’ll be telling you all about Chanel Paris Deauxville EDT.
A few months ago (quite a few months ago at this point, lol), I was blessed to be able to go on vacation! Yay! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary with a trip to Cancun, Mexico with another couple (who we love and look up to)! If you have been following my Youtube channel, you may have seen some of the outfits that I wore while there, but here, I wanted to show you what makeup I took with me. Not to mention, the absolutely gorgeous toiletry case that accompanied me!
So if you know me, you know that I LOVE to shop! Some of my favorite things to shop for are makeup, luxury bags & accessories, home decor, and the list goes on & on! One of my goals for 2019 is to be more financially responsible, so I decided to cut back on some things. Now, shopping is something that I really enjoy so I’m not cutting it out completely. I just decided to set a few rules for myself so that I don’t go crazy with my spending this year.
Nothing, just living life! LOL. In all seriousness, I have felt unsure about what to do with my blog for quite awhile now! I’m still not sure, but I am planning to just do me over here on this blog. Sometimes I may be posting about beauty, sometimes about fashion, and sometimes about mom life. Sometimes, it may just be me rambling!
If you are reading this, then thanks for opening up that notification to see what I posted. Thanks for sticking around! I can’t wait to get back to interacting with you all on this level! I hope that you end up liking the new content that I have coming up!
Physician’s Formula recently added a new foundation to their lineup, The Healthy Foundation. I was excited to try this out because I saw a few reviews from women of color. If you know anything about Physician’s Formula, then I’m sure you know that all of their complexion products are usually on the paler side. As far as I know, this is the first foundation that they have come out with that would fit my skin tone or darker. I tried this out in the shade DN3 (dark neutral 3) because that seemed to be the closest to my skin tone when I saw it in store. I decided to film my first few days of wearing this, so make sure to check out the video below. I also wanted to give you the basic pros & cons of this foundation here on the blog just in case you don’t have time to watch the video.
It’s Favorites time! I love sharing my favorite products with you every month and this month was no exception. Check out my video below to see all the beauty and randomness that I’ve been using and abusing over the last month or so! Also, be sure that you are subscribed to me on YouTube because I don’t always post my videos here on the blog. Plus, I always have good information and links in my description box for my videos. Enjoy!
