If you follow my YouTube channel, you may have heard me mention Swiss Arabian Casablanca before. I’ve mentioned it a few times, but I felt that it deserved a more in depth review, so here we are!
So as usual, let’s talk about the bottle first. I have to say, I don’t particularly like the design of this bottle. This fragrance is not an expensive one, so I’m okay with the bottle, but not impressed by it. I do however, appreciate the sturdiness and thickness of the glass. It feels pretty well made.
Now where the bottle lacks, the perfume inside more than makes up for it!
Top: ripe grapes, apples
Mid: patchouli, orris, blonde wood
Base: amber, Peru balm, musk, suede, liquid caramel
This fragrance is like a slightly spicy, sweet, caramel sparkling apple juice on my skin! It is gorgeous. It is rather sweet due to the caramel and apple, but I still feel like it can be worn year round. Sometimes really sweet fragrances can feel overwhelming in the heat and humidity, but I think that Casablanca has something to it that keeps it from getting to be too much (to my nose at least). This is one of those fragrances that smells like it is sparkling (like champagne)!
In the longevity and sillage department, Casablanca performs very well. I find it to last around 8 hours on my skin and it projects well. People around you will smell this one. I don’t think it would overwhelm others in your presence, but it is definitely noticeable.
Overall, I’m very happy with this fragrance! I think it is well worth what it costs and it is special in my collection. It’s one that I constantly reach for.
Swiss Arabian Casablanca retails for $73 for 3.4oz, but is always cheaper HERE.
