Fragrance Friday #2 | Gucci Memoire D’une Odeur EDP

Gucci Memoire D'une Odeur

Gucci Memoire D’une Odeur is a relatively new fragrance to my collection. I picked up it shortly after its release after I happened to come upon it while walking my kid to the bathroom of a department store! LOL! I saw the beautiful bottle, gave it a whiff, and couldn’t get it out of my mind! About a week later, I purchased it with a gift card and I have no regrets!

As for the notes of this fragrance, Gucci says that the top note is Roman Chamomile, with a heart of Indian Coral Jasmine Nature Print (a note exclusive to Gucci) and precious musks, and base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and cedar wood. Now you all know that I am not a fragrance expert, so I prefer to describe scents in layperson’s terms. I think that this smells fresh and clean mixed with some sort of alcoholic beverage. I also can detect the vanilla. I know that sounds strange, but it is honestly such a unique scent! The biggest downfall of this scent is its longevity. I’ve heard/read some other reviews that point that out as well. On me, it lasts about 4 hours. Because I love the scent so much, I’m willing to reapply.

I definitely think you should give this a whiff if you come across it. It has quickly become one of my favorites and I absolutely love the way the bottle looks on my vanity! My only regret is that I didn’t get the larger bottle!

Have you tried Gucci Memoire? What did you think?
