Fragrance Friday #1 | Chanel Les Eaux Deauville EDT

Many of you may already know, but I have been a fragrance lover for as long as I can remember! I can recall all the way back to middle school, getting excited about perfumes! Back then, I would peruse the aisles of Ross and Marshalls looking to spend my little money that I saved on purses or perfume. Over 20 years later, I’m still loving both! Haha! Since my fragrance collection is so large, I decided to start this Fragrance Friday series on the blog. I probably won’t do these every Friday, just whenever the mood strikes! In this series, I plan to do short posts that briefly describe my thoughts on the fragrance. For this first Fragrance Friday, I’ll be telling you all about Chanel Paris Deauxville EDT.

I decided to start this series out on a positive note, I love Chanel Deauville! This was an anniversary gift from my husband earlier this year and I think he did a really great job on this one! Chanel doesn’t give much information regarding the notes of this fragrance, but they do mention basil base notes with a top note of sparkling citrus. In my opinion, this smells like a clean, citrusy, floral. This fragrance is for the woman who loves to smell great, but not over the top. I tend to wear this when I want to smell pretty and sophisticated! It is a great daily scent that will work in pretty much any situation. I think that this fragrance is best suited for the warmer months.

As far as longevity, I really think that depends on the person. For me, this only lasts around 5 hours on my skin. That would be the only downside of the fragrance for me, but it is definitely not a deal breaker!

Have you tried Chanel Paris Deauville? What did you think?
