Budget Beauty: E.L.F. Baked Eyeshadows

E.L.F. products can be extremely hit or miss for me, especially their eyeshadows. If you have ever purchased one of their 100 pan eyeshadow palettes, then I’m sure you know what I mean. Recently, they released these new baked eyeshadows and blushes. I saw the shadows in Target, so I decided to pick up 2 to try out. Keep reading for my thoughts on them!

The E.L.F. baked eyeshadows are available in 6 shades. The 2 that I decided to try are Pixie and Toasted. Like most other baked products, these shadows may be used wet or dry.

L-R: Pixie, Toasted (swatched dry)

As shown in the above picture, even when swatched dry, these shadows are pretty pigmented. Pixie is a gorgeous golden pink shade and Toasted is a light taupe bronze shade.

When these shadows are swatched wet, they become more metallic. Either way, they are beautiful. I don’t think my pictures do them justice, trust me, they are even prettier in person because you can see the dimension in them.

I have worn both of these shadows and they wear well, wet or dry. They are not my longest lasting shadow, but with primer, they lasted on me around 7 hours before I needed to touch up. For only $3 each, I can deal with that.

I already put in my order on eyeslipsface.com for the other 2 shades that I’m interested in, Bark & Enchanted.

Have you tried the E.L.F. Baked Eyeshadows? What do you think? Also, if you would like to see a look using at least one of these, let me know!

  1. Love your blog! I will also be checking out your Youtube channel. I have one of the baked eyeshadows in “Enchanted”. I haven’t used it all over my eyelids yet, but I use it for my inner tear duct and for highlighting my cheek bones and it is amazingly beautiful as a highlight!
